Description

This module aims to give students an introduction to health informatics concepts and theories within a global context. Students will develop an understanding of the scope of healthcare informatics, and the roles that health informatics professionals might have within healthcare organizations. Students will be able to discuss and assess the sociological impacts that health informatics has as a discipline. Topics will cover both technological and sociological aspects of the discipline to a foundation for further studies.
